MegaMeet 11 Fundraising - Amazing Effort!

Amazing fundraising effort - now standing at just over £2000 for Alzheimers UK.....

The raffle including those kind supporters who bought tickets online raised £950.
The remainder is from auction items sold on the night of the Gala Evening as well as some additional donations and supplemented by some Gift Aid.

Megameet 11 - Charity Fundraising

As you may well know Megameet 11 is this weekend in Northern Ireland and we will be raising money for our charity of the year - Alzheimer's Society.

On Saturday night we will be holding a Gala dinner at which there will be a raffle with many many prizes, donated by members, traders, suppliers and Honda.

If you are not attending but would still like to help the cause you can buy raffle tickets for £5 a strip or £10 for 3 strips.  To do this simply make the relevant donation, and include your name and membership number, or email address in the notes on the just giving page here:

We will allocate raffle tickets in your name on the night and advise you what you win!

DONATIONS MUST BE MADE BY 4PM SATURDAY 19th SEPTEMBER! (Any after will be accepted but you may not get tickets!)

The new S2KUK Charity of the Year will be announced on Saturday (9th May) at the Megameet 10.5 Gala Dinner.

Choose the S2KUK Charity of the Year

It is time to nominate the S2KUK Charity of the year for 2015/16.

You can see here how the Club has raised almost £50,000 in the past few years all for very good causes.

Within this club year we raised almost £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 

Now it is your chance to nominate a charity of choice for the coming club year.  

Nominations will be accepted through email to or simply login and comment on this article or comment on the story on our facebook page, tweet us @S2KUK or on our Google Page or Google Community

Nominations will close on 23rd April 2015, at which point there will be a vote to select from the nominations.

S2KUK Charity Online Auction

We have a few prizes left over from Megameet X, which we did not get time to auction on the night.  We would like to maximise our charity raising efforts and offer everyone the opportunity to bid on these fantastic prizes donated by sponsors, traders and members.

The auction will be held online, on the S2KI Forums.  You can bid by posting in reply to the thread below, or by emailing your bid (which will be published on the auction thread) to

  • The auction will run from 7 days from opening, on 7th October, until 14th October.  
  • Winning bidders will be expected to pay within 48 hours of the auction closing.
  • Winning bidders will be contacted for payment which should be made to the S2KUK justgiving page:

  • All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Care - our nominated charity.
