LONDON S2000 SUMMER MEET @ ACE CAFE PART DEUX. Sunday 8th June - 6pm - 10.30pm

So here it is, the next one you've been waiting for. 

We are proud to announce part 2 of S2KUK's own summer meet at the iconic Ace Cafe.

This is the perfect chance for club members and newbies to come together, convoy to the cafe then park up and enjoy each others company and have some fun.

This event is FREE.

Date: 8th June 
Time: 6pm - 10:30pm

The car park will hold 50 cars, S2000s will be given priority. As you will know by now, you need to sign up EARLY to avoid disappointment.

There will be food, drink and good company. The weather should be glorious and the convoys will be fun.

There will be prizes, and also more trophies being awarded for the following categories:

BEST OVERALL CAR
BEST MODIFIED CAR
MOST CLEAN AND SHINY CAR
BEST STANDARD CAR
DIRTIEST CAR

Being the second of the summer meets at the Ace Cafe, we really want this to be big so PLEASE support us by coming along and showing off your pride and joy be it standard, modified, stanced, hellaflushed, the lot.

As this is a good location, we would like to invite members, and new owners of S2000's from all over the UK to attend. 

Please note that Ace Cafe London will not tolerate dangerous or anti-social driving and vehicles seen driving on the road in such a manner outside the cafe or its local environs will be reported to the authorities. 
Please also be aware not to bring any food or drink on to the premises (to include the car park!); The kitchen is open from 7am to 10pm (9.30pm on Sunday) daily to keep patrons fed and the bar is open until 11pm (10.30pm on Sunday) for drinks - the place only works with your support.

This may be free to attend but you're only allowed in if you're on the list.

We are very pleased to announce a car show for S2000s to take over Beaulieu Motor Museum!

We have the hard stand arena booked exclusively for S2KUK with capacity for 120 cars! If we get more than 120 people interested there is the possibility to expand onto the grassed areas surrounding the arena so we have the chance to make this a really great big meet.

There are plans to arrange a couple of prizes and ask some of the Motor Museum staff to (impartially) judge our cars for the traditional "Best in Show" awards for a bit of fun!

Being right in the middle of summer we should have an awesome day out and this would be a great opportunity to meet other S2000 fans. You can even ride the Monorail and see all the cars from the air! After the initial meet and greet and people wondering off into the Museum attractions, meet back at the Arena around 1pm for lunch. Recommend packing a picnic.

The Motor Museum itself is very impressive with lots to see and do, well worth the trip. There's also plenty of hotels and campsites nearby for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it.

Well, it may be grey and damp outside but just imagine what it's going to be like in June, when the sun's shining & there are more than 140 rare and classic sports cars & bikes preparing to tear up the tarmac in front of your eyes (and ears!). 

For those who haven't attended before it really is like a mini Goodwood FOS, with a great relaxed informal atmosphere, you can even walk around the paddock freely and get close to every vehicle...some amazing sounds as they get ready, earplugs are recommended though!

This year we will be attending as a club for the 1st time so it's going be a very special occasion for those who can make it.

Camping facilities are also available for those of us that haven't evolved like outdoor life.

2014/15 Memberships and Renewals are now OPEN!

The club year ends on 30th April 2014, so renewal and new memberships are now open.  

You can join or renew now for the new club year which will run until April 30th 2015.

If you join or renew before March 30th 2014 you will qualify for EARLY BIRD PRICES:

• Full year membership or renewal £15.00
• If you joined after 1st Jan 2014 renewal at £7.50

After 30th March 2014 membership price will be £17.50 (and £10 for renewal if you joined after 1st Jan 2014)

It is with great sadness that we hear about the death of one of our members, Steve Bennett on Thursday 13th February. 

Steve was a lovely man and we had some great times with him at the Megameets he attended, where he made many friends.  He had a positive outlook, fun attitude and was warm and generous, he will be sadly missed.  Our condolences are with his wife Jennie and the family at this time.
