The new S2KUK Charity of the Year will be announced on Saturday (9th May) at the Megameet 10.5 Gala Dinner.

The result will be posted here once announced.

It's time to vote for the S2KUK Charity of the year.  We have collected all nominations and now it is your chance to vote.  

Please take some time and read about each charity using the link provided if you are not familiar with any of the charities (especially the less well known ones).

You can choose up to 3 of your favourite charities in the vote (you can vote for just one, two or three).  Voting link is below the table.

It is time to nominate the S2KUK Charity of the year for 2015/16.

You can see here how the Club has raised almost £50,000 in the past few years all for very good causes.

Within this club year we raised almost £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 

Now it is your chance to nominate a charity of choice for the coming club year.  

Nominations will be accepted through email to charity@s2kuk.com or simply login and comment on this article or comment on the story on our facebook page, tweet us @S2KUK or on our Google Page or Google Community

Nominations will close on 23rd April 2015, at which point there will be a vote to select from the nominations.

We have a few prizes left over from Megameet X, which we did not get time to auction on the night.  We would like to maximise our charity raising efforts and offer everyone the opportunity to bid on these fantastic prizes donated by sponsors, traders and members.

The auction will be held online, on the S2KI Forums.  You can bid by posting in reply to the thread below, or by emailing your bid (which will be published on the auction thread) to charity@s2kuk.com

A few 'rules':

• The auction will run from 7 days from opening, on 7th October, until 14th October.  
• Winning bidders will be expected to pay within 48 hours of the auction closing.

• Prizes will be sent once payment received.
• All proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Care - our nominated charity.

We have totted up the money raised at Megameet X and it is a pleasure to announce that the total raised SO FAR is a staggering....

£7330.29

And that isn't all; we still have a few items left over which we will shortly be putting up for online auction, more news once we have them done, these include track days, servicing package, a stay in ireland, Honda sunglasses, and lots more!

We are making final preparations for Megameet 10 (yes the tenth!!) in delightful Mid Wales.

It is, so far, an incredible turn out with 70 cars planned to be in attendance so it promises to be a great meet. As ever we will be doing our bit to raise money for our Members Chosen Charity of the Year which this year is Macmillan Cancer Support

Last year we raised a staggering £5,414.50 which was split in equal amounts and donated to Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes charities. We can only hope, that with your help, we can do just as well this year.

So....

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

• Have you got something you could donate as a raffle or auction prize?
• Could you scrounge something from a local dealer, or similar?
• Are you a business who'd like to benefit not only the charity, but yourselves by getting free PR/Advertising?
• Maybe you travel a lot for work and stay in hotels - could you persuade them for an overnight B&B voucher perhaps?
• Does your work place do anything special? Would they donate something?

Anything, no matter how big or small, will help us towards the fund raising.

Also we need some volunteers to help contact our list of traders/sponsors etc. please get in touch - many hands make light work!
