Latest News From the UK S2000 Owners Club

It is time to nominate the S2KUK Charity of the year for 2013/14.

You can see here how the Club has raised a grand total of £33,386.00 in the past few years all for very good causes.

Now it is your chance to nominate your charity of choice for the coming club year.  

Nominations will be accepted through email to charity@s2kuk.com or simply login and comment on this article or comment on the story on our facebook page or tweet us @S2KUK

Nominations will close on 30th March 2013, at which point there will be a vote to select from the top nominations.

As a surprise, we arranged Casino tables for XM and much fun was had by all.

Needless to say the fun helped us to raise some money for charity, thanks to selling the 'fun money' to exchange for casino chips!

We raised an amazing £300 to help feed Homeless people in Northampton on Christams Day this year.  Their funding pot also had a little boost as it was paid over from me thus they got Gift aid.

Thanks everyone for being so generous - our great Christmas Party night means that some less fortunate than us will have a a tasty meal on Chritmas day.  Perhaps we should also mention that a few other folk who were at the same party also chipped in - so Barclays at Foleshill ROad Coventry and Mrs Jordan's table...thank you too!

A fabulous Megameet 8 in the Lakes & Dales with good weather, great company and great roads, obviously made everyone happy as the total amount raised for the RNLI was.....

A HUGE THANK YOU!

...to all who made such kind donations, bidded in the auction and bought raffle tickets at the event and online.

The money was raised in the following ways:

• Raffle - £760
• Auction - £2,479
• T-shirts - £TBC (we still have some T-shirts left for sale, click here!)

Some highlights from the Auction:

• Alan putting on (and doing up) a childs Honda BTCC shirt to sell it for £65
• Haye's famous belgiun beers being sold for a massive £200
• A beautiful box of 3 very special Rioja wines going for £170
• A day's archery with Paralympian Mel Clarke & her trainer for £300

The votes have been counted and the winning charity of the year was the RNLI.
