S2KUK wishes HRH Queen Elizabeth II all the best on her diamond Jubilee, and everyone a happy Jubilee weekend!

We're not sure if HRH has ever enjoyed the thrill of an S2000 in her 60 years on the throne.  What we do know is that it's an excuse to spend the extra bank holiday VTECing!  

Let us know how you celebrate it with your S2000, perhaps put your jubilee car pictures in your gallery!

On 10th June he will be racing at Silverstone, and many people would like to watch and support him. So, we're going to go!

MB has suggested we arrive at the Circuit by 10am and we can buy tickets at the gate (advance tickets are available for £9 here if you wish.

Here's the timetable for the day

All that fits pretty well with the usual Ricky Run timetable as we can have breakfast at The Super Sausage from 8.30-9.30 and then it's 10 minutes' drive to Silverstone from there.

The Ricky Run route is a lovely drive on a mixture of A, B and C-roads, the pace is dependant on the slowest driver, and we do wait to let folk catch up if necessary. To have clear run, we leave early in the morning from Christ Church Chorleywood Car Park. Meet at 6.45am here. Link to Map

It's on the A404 about 1/2 mile from J18 of the M25. The postcode is WD3 5SG. At junction 18, take the A404 exit to Chorleywood/Amersham, past the Shell garage on your right, then past The Gate pub, also on your right. The church is opposite the pub and the entrance to the car park is a sharp left at the end of the churchyard wall.

Lots of our members enjoy driving together and taking photographs, and this is a great way to get some inspiration!  Some of our members have got the bug and their pictures have acheived gallery status (see below)!
