This low mileage Honda S2000 2.0i VTEC Roadster, in Nurburgring Blue with blue leather, is for sale in excellent condition. The vehicle was bought from a Honda dealer in July 2006 and comes with 2 keys and an unused tonneau cover. There has been one lady owner from July 2006 to date and the 1 Former Keeper listed on the V5C form is “Honda Motor Europe Ltd” who acquired the vehicle on 20 July 2005.
Underneath the bonnet is a 2.0i petrol engine with a sophisticated VTEC system which combines good torque characteristics at low revs with high power at high revs. Start the engine using the race inspired dash mounted start button and select each one of the six manual gears using the lightweight aluminium gearshift wrapped in the same tactile leather as the steering wheel.
The Honda S2000’s interior is rich in thoughtful design; it’s a purely driver focused environment. The first thing you’ll notice is that the instruments don’t stretch halfway across the dashboard; it’s a completely unique space with every control at your fingertips. Then there’s the centre console, built with a convenient sliding lid which opens with one, swift touch – plus there’s space for two cups.
The wind deflector, a glass plate positioned between the headrests, means that even with the roof down you remain comfortable. The stereo, with CD player, is concealed discreetly behind a sleek metallic panel and roll bar speakers are fitted to the rear of the headrests which means you can maximise your sound quality. The cleverly designed compartment between the seats offers a storage space which can be locked to give you extra peace of mind with the soft top down.
The soft top (mohair blue) was replaced in May 2014 and the car has mainly been kept in the garage for the last ten years which has minimised weathering of the soft top cover. There is no visible corrosion on the bodywork and the 17” alloy wheels were recoated about 15 years ago. There are minor marks on the bodywork: front wheel arch; by boot lid; near the filler cap and minor scuffs on the wheel rims.
The sale is due to limited use over recent years and hence the car has not been serviced every year. The car benefits from an MOT test certificate to October 2024 and comes with an original Honda Service Book and other relevant documentation. The Odometer reading was approximately 29350 miles on 31 January 2024.
