MEET REPORT: Honda Healthcheck at Redhill Honda
Each year, just before the annual MegaMeet, we approach local Honda dealers to help us to raise money for our charity of the year. This year Redhill Honda exceeded all our expectations and gave up their time on a Saturday morning to allow the club free access to their trained S2000 technicians and facilities.

So staggered over the morning we had cars on the ramps for a free Healthcheck. For those of us going to MegaMeet it was a good opportunity to ensure the cars were prepped and ready for the weekend. We were also able to scrutinise the underside of the car to check for any issues, something that isn’t so easy unless you can get them on the ramp. I think most of us were amazed how clean they all seemed to be underneath.

All the staff where very helpful and the mechanics carried out a very thorough check on the cars before answering our many questions and queries. They covered everything for a leaking diff washer to locating the cause of over-run rattle.
The team at Honda were also very interested in some of the mods we had made to the cars and this took as much time discussing as the checks themselves. We also appreciated the bacon sarnies and coffee on tap !

A total of £320 was raised on the day towards this year’s chosen charity - Macmillan Cancer Care. So a big thank you to all those who bought their cars along for their generosity.
However a particular thank you must go to Martin, Kevin and Steve and the team at Redhill Honda for giving up their time and making this possible!!
