S2KUK Bristol Area Drive Out Sept 2023

Thanks to Dave for arranging a great drive out to Tintern Abbey. Although only 4 of us made it to the Easter Compton start point, it was still a memorable drive!
Stuart did his regular ‘detour’ by missing the Chepstow junction but eventually caught us up again. I had a lucky escape after finding I’d been sat on a wasp for 15 mins, still he seemed happy to be warmed up rather than gassed out!😂
Special mention to the American lady tourist at the Abbey who saw the cars lined up and declared ‘Oh gosh, they’re just all so cute! Are they lined up in order of size, smallest st the end?’🤦♂️😂 Well done to her chap for explaining they’re all the same!
The roads through the Wye Valley are stunning, hopefully next time we do this run the weather will be better and maybe he head all the way up to Symonds Yat?😎
