Donington Historic Festival -Donington Park, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, May 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2015.

With close-fought racing every day, over 400 historic racing cars spanning seven decades,historic rally car and karting action and a ‘living motoring museum’created by dozens of car clubs displays – plus a host of other attractions –exhilaration and entertainment is guaranteed, whether you buy a ticket for one,two or all three days! On each day of the Festival gates open at 07.30am and the circuit activity starts at 9.10am, finishing at around 6.30pm.

The provisional timetable will be announced early in 2015. Members of car clubs registered to attend the event benefit from a two-for-one ticket offer on advance tickets when they quote their unique club code at time of booking(deadline Saturday, April 25th), and, at the time of booking, will be asked to request the number of infield passes they require, allowing them to join the other cars on display in their club's dedicated infield parking area, to create a fantastic exhibit for all spectators to enjoy. Children aged 15 and under(accompanied by an adult) get in for free.

Announcing Megameet 11!

Megameet 11 - will be held in the dramatic coastline of Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Comprising of the Causeway Coast and Antrim Glens, it promises some fantastic roads and scenery.

THE LONDON CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The London Classic Car Show is a brand new event taking place in the UK’s capital. As you may know, London has a thriving classic car network that includes discerning classic car collectors, enthusiasts, dealers and a first class international exhibition centre but, until now no one has attempted to create a definitive showcase of the finest classic cars. On the 8th – 11th January 2015 at ExCeL, The London Classic Car Show 2015 plans to change this as it opens its doors for the very first time.

After such a brilliant Megameet X at the Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells, upon departure we decided to see if there was availability for an interim Megameet before Megameet 11 in Ireland next year.

We are delighted to say there was!

Megameet 10.5 will have a limited number of places for accommodation and will be booked on a first come, first served basis!  

Full details will be released and registration will open on Wednesday 1st October in the evening.  Costs will remain as per Megameet X

Dates for your diary are Friday 8th to Sunday 10th/Monday 11th May 2015.

The months of planning are complete, the route has been finalised, the hotel is booked, cars are checked and cleaned, the waiting is over.  It’s time for undoubtedly the main event of the 2014 S2KUK meet calendar – MEGAMEET X .

The base for this tenth year of Megameet was in the rolling valleys of mid Wales.  The Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells was chosen as a base.  This luxury hotel is used by many car clubs and the owner, Justin Baird-Murray, is an ex-S2000 owner and spent a lot of time with us during the course of the weekend making sure everything was perfect.

From late Thursday S2000s began to arrive from all over the UK and Europe.  It was a truly international meet with a large Dutch and Belgian contingent of 14 cars who had enjoyed Euromeet earlier in the year.  There was also Robbie and Biggy (rk renntechnik) from Germany who bought over their immaculate and highly modified ASM Pearl White 2.2 litre – a car that created a great deal of interest over the weekend.  Not forgetting our friends from Ireland who are regular MM attendees and will be hosting the event in September 2015.
